Most Recent Weekly Update

Coach Lewis Bennett | Last Sunday at 12:00 AM

TRAINING AND RACING: Joan and Leslie ran the Clearwater 5 miler on Sunday, Mike Fortuna and Kathy Robinson ran the half along with many other familiar faces. It was a beautiful day for racing. The Chilly Willy and the Rock and Roll Half are coming up in February - so there is plenty to keep you busy until the tri season starts. :)
JANUARY MEETING: Thanks for participating and thanks to Joan for the muffins.
COZUMEL IM: We are in general agreement to leave on Thanksgiving morning and to use tri bike transport for the bikes. We have a travel agent looking into the rooms for us.
HITS OLYMPIC: This new race is on our club calendar for 3/24. It should be a lot of fun. Greg signed up for the half distance race on the 25th. There is a distance for everyone!
TRI CAMP: The camp dates are March 9-11. The cost is $225 and is inclusive the cabins, the NTC and meals. There is nothing else like it - but there are only a couple of spaces left. We will probably close it out by the end of January. There is a link to the app on the News page or copy and paste this one http://www.trilewisclub.com/documents/TriCampApplication_2012.pdf
CROSS FIT TAMPA BAY: Some of us are going to try out the cross fit class at 0530 hours this Thursday morning. You are welcome to join us but if you cannot, - if we like the class - we are going to try to set up our February meeting there for the whole club. The address is 7282 114th Ave North. The Thursday bike is still on the schedule.
USAT CLUB MEMBERSHIP: It is time for us to renew our club membership. If you have a had an address change or now have a USAT membership number please email it to Coach Lewis this week so we can send in the most current data.
